Parish elementary schools establish their own schedule of tuition and fees. Tuition costs and policies vary among the elementary schools of the Archdiocese. Parish investments, fundraisers, annual giving programs, capital campaigns, the Annual Catholic Appeal, and endowed funds contribute to operating expenses. Parents should contact individual school principals and pastors about tuition assistance available for their parish schools. Tuition assistance includes the following programs. Tuition Family Plan Some schools provide reduced tuition for families that have more than one child enrolled at the same time. Parents should contact the school principal or pastor for additional information. Catholic Family Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund The people of the Archdiocese of St. Louis established this endowed fund through their contributions to the Returning God's Gifts campaign. This ten million dollar endowment was established in May, 1999. Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process. Grants may be used for Catholic children to attend parish elementary or Secondary Schools, or Archdiocesan or regional high schools. Registered Catholic families can obtain applications from their pastors. Parish Employees Endowment Fund A one million dollar endowment fund was established by an anonymous donor. It provides financial assistance for parish employees’ children to attend a parish elementary or secondary school, or Archdiocesan or regional high school. Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process. Applications are available from the pastor. For more information contact: Dr. J.
